Create colorful, soft playdough that’s as fun to make as it is to play with — perfect for hours of squishy, creative fun!
Marshmallow Playdough Recipe
Ingredients:
10-ounce bag marshmallows
2 ½ cups cornstarch
Coconut oil or other oil
3 tablespoons water
Food coloring
Instructions:
In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine marshmallows, cornstarch, and water. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until the marshmallows are fully melted. Let the mixture cool slightly.
Lightly dust a surface with cornstarch and knead the dough on it.
Divide the dough into 4 to 6 equal balls. Add food coloring to each ball and knead with lightly oiled hands until the color is even.
Play with the dough using lightly oiled hands to prevent sticking.
Store the dough in airtight containers for up to one week. If it becomes too firm, microwave it for 10 seconds to soften.
